About the Opportunity X-Team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of a leading telecommunications provider. In this role, you will help build smart automation, improve deployment practices, and support reliable technology platforms that make it easier for development teams to move fast and deliver strong outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage application deployments and supporting services through tools such as Harbor, Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps. Maintain GitLab runners, tooling images (Buildah, Kaniko), and manage GitLab CI/CD templates and repositories. Maintain secure environments and namespaces with appropriate application and network separation within Kubernetes clusters. Manage and maintain infrastructure applications using GitOps principles for secrets management, load balancers, certificate management, logging, and metrics. Monitor Kubernetes infrastructure and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, logs, and traces. Liaise closely with application developers (Golang and JavaScript) to diagnose deployment problems, improve CI/CD pipelines, and provide guidance on application design and Helm charts. Technical Vetting & Requirements Location/Timezone: Must be based in APAC (India, Indonesia, Sria Lanka, Bangladesh, Philippines or Pakistan) with a 4-6 hour overlap with AEST office hours.  Core Experience: Practical experience operating Kubernetes, GitOps, Argo CD deployments, Helm, container registries, and GitLab runners. Infrastructure: Strong Linux, networking, secrets management, and troubleshooting skills. Observability: Hands-on experience using Prometheus and Grafana to diagnose platform and application performance problems. Tech Stack Familiarity: GitLab CI/CD, Harbor, Helm, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Loft/vCluster, Vault, cert-manager, CloudNativePG/PostgreSQL, Dragonfly, Temporal, NATS, Flipt, Alloy, or Open Telemetry.
